Columbus Police Make Shooting Arrest
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police have made an arrest from a shooting late last month, but they’re still looking for another person believed to be involved.
Police say they arrested 23-year-old Tony Martin after pulling him over on 20th Street North last Thursday.
Investigators say they served three aggravated assault warrants on him for shooting into a car with three people inside of it on May 24.
They say Martin also had a felony amount of cocaine on him, and was wanted by the state department of corrections for escaping the restitution center.
Officers are also looking 29-year-old Brandon Orr, who they say was involved in the same shooting incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus police or Crime Stoppers.
