Columbus teen sentenced to prison for armed robbery

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A Columbus teen will spend five years in prison for armed robbery.

Mandell Glover pleaded guilty to the hold up in Lowndes County Circuit Court.

Last August, the victim told deputies that he was taking pictures on his phone at Stringer Manor Apartments when he was hit in the nose with a pistol.

$800 was allegedly taken in the armed robbery.

Glover was later arrested at his mother’s home.
