Columbus tornado debris pickup ends

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Sunday, April 21, is the last day for Columbus residents to push tornado debris to the curbside for pick up.

“Looks Great Services” collected debris off the side of the road for two weeks.

As of last Tuesday, they’ve collected 1.6 million pounds of debris.

364 tons of the debris has been vegetation.

The City of Columbus said any debris not pushed to the curb on or before Sunday will be the responsibility of the property owner.
