COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The public can give input on a Columbus group’s second attempt to open a charter school.
The Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board will be in Columbus to hear public comments on the proposed “Inspire Charter School” Monday at 5:30pm at Genesis Church.
Organizers have been interviewed by the state board. The community meeting is the next step in the process.
“Inspire Charter School” is one of two schools in the state seeking approval from the authorizer board. The group was denied earlier this year.
The board will announce its decision on December 5th.
