Company Plans For Growth Following Fire
GOLDEN, Miss. (WCBI) – After taking one step back following a fire, this northeast Mississippi company is taking two steps forward as they reopen.
Baymont Bathware announced plans today to increase their workforce from 89 employees to 171 by the end of 2018.
Before the fire in May, the company employed 151 workers.
Moving back into their former warehouse in Golden, the company is investing $1.5 mil along with $150,000 from the Mississippi Development Authority.
Northeast Mississippi Community College is also pitching in, by assisting with employee training.
Baymont Bathware is a designer, engineer and manufacturer of bath fixtures, including fiberglass showers and tubs.
The company is relocating operations into an existing 112,500-square-foot facility, formerly used by the company for warehousing.
