Cool & Damp Friday But A Nice Weekend Awaits

THURSDAY NIGHT: Additional moderate to heavy rain is likely as another wave of energy moves back into the area. Steady to slowly rising temperatures are likely as a brief surge of warmer air moves in. We may be in the low to mid 50s by late tonight. Winds become southeasterly between 5 and 15 mph.

FRIDAY: Look for extensive cloud cover and the chance of lingering showers throughout the day. The odds of rain during the daylight hours should be about 40%. Early morning temperatures in the 50s will go down as the official highs but most of the day is likely going to be spent in the 40s. Breezy southwesterly winds develop between 10 and 20 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Areas of fog are possible as temperatures cool into the mid 30s. Clouds gradually thin out.

WEEKEND: Once any morning fog dissolves Saturday, the weekend is shaping up to be mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs Saturday are still expected to be in the upper 50s to around 60 while highs on Sunday should push into the low to mid 60s. Lows Saturday night are going to be seasonably cool in the mid 30s.

MONDAY: Clouds will be on the increase with showers becoming possible again during the afternoon, evening, and overnight hours. Highs top out in the 60s. Lows Monday night will be in the upper 40s to around 50.

TUESDAY – THURSDAY: High pressure builds back in and that spells mostly sunny and pleasant winter weather for our region. New information suggests highs may range from the upper 50s to the mid 60s.
