Man Enters Guilty Plea In Child Sexual Battery Case

ALCORN CO., Miss. (WCBI) – An Ashland man pleads guilty last week to sexual battery of a child.

Corinth Police Department charged Nekia Williams with sexually battering an 11-year-old child.

The incident occurred December of 2014.

Circuit Judge Jim Pounds sentenced Williams to 13 years in prison Tuesday.

Williams will serve his sentence on a day-to-day basis and will have to register as a sex offender.

Assistant District Attorney Kimi Kitchens was the prosecutor in this case.
