COVID-19 cases rise again according to MSDH

JACKSON, MISS. (WCBI) – The number of new COVID-19 cases in Mississippi is above 700 today.

The State Department of Health reports 711 new coronavirus cases today, along with 22 deaths.

Fatalities were reported in Lee, Oktibbeha, and Itawamba counties.

670 people remain hospitalized. 177 are being treated in I.C.U. and 101 are on a ventilator.

More than 91-thousand people have tested positive for coronavirus and more than 27-hundred have died.
