Cowboy Rodeo Stew

With the Starkville Millsaps FFA Rodeo coming up later this week, we thought it would be perfect to get out the ole Wild West Cowboy Rodeo Stew and dust it off!  The great thing about this?  It’s loaded with meat, tastes delicious and has tons of vegetables disguised in it!  Give this recipe a “Yeehaw!” as you make it!

Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1.5 cans tomato sauce
1 can chili beans
1 can pork and beans
1 can creamed corn
2 cups broccoli
1 cup cauliflower
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple juice

Directions
1) Brown beef, onion, peppers together.  Drain.
2) Put all ingredients into crock pot.  Stir.
3) Cook low and slow 7-12 hours.

Come out and support the FFA Rodeo!  It’s a family fun event and Meteorologist Jacob Dickey would love to see you there!
