Crews Battle House Fire In Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Fire crews in Lowndes County were busy Tuesday morning after a mobile home catches fire at a mobile home park.

At 10 a.m. Tuesday, Lowndes County District 2 fire crews were called out to a home in the Columbus Mobile Villa area, on Mike Parra Road.

Officer Aaron Lorenz says the fire started in a bedroom from an electrical outlet.

The fire was small and running up the wall when crews arrived on scene.

Lorenz says as soon fire crews put water on it, the blaze was quickly put out.

No one was home at the time and luckily no injuries.
