CTC hosts 3rd annual ‘Christmas Bazaar’ event in Columbus

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County students used their creative skills to raise money for future academic opportunities.

The Career Technical Education program hosted its third annual ‘Christmas Bazaar’ event.

Students from different departments created items or offered services to raise money for student-work travel.

Career Tech Director said students put a lot of hard work into making this event happen.

“Now, it’s time to see the fruits of their labor and I hope that they make some connections and have a great time. I hope they earn a lot of money so that they can go on to their student competitions,” said Susan McClelland, CTC Director of the Lowndes County School District.

Cosmetology is the newest program offered this year. Some people at the event were able to be groomed and trimmed.
