Deadly Early Morning Alabama Crash

HALEYVILLE, Ala.(WCBI) – Around 4:50 this morning a single vehicle crash claimed the life of a Haleyville man.

54 year old Timothy Wayne Smith was killed when the Jeep Wrangler he was driving left the roadway and hit a tree.

The crash took place on Highway 34 near Cherry Circle.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
