Ditch Does In Burglary Bunch

VARDAMAN  (WCBI) – A trio of suspected burglars get an A for ingenuity but an F for execution.    Sheriff Greg Pollan says deputies responded to a burglary call at Wade Equipment around 7:30 Saturday morning.

54 year old Barry Tuck ,  35 year old Daniel Easley and 18 year old Ashley Tuck al of Maben are accused of taking a 14 foot trailer and a welder . The theft literally took a wrong turn when they ran their getaway Jeep into the ditch in front of Wade’s   Pollan adds the burglars did think to go in the dealership and use a tractor to pull the Jeep out but in the process left some key evidence behind leading to the arrests. Mathiston Police along with Webster and Oktibbeha County investigators are assisting in the case. The 3 are facing charges in other counties along with the Burglary of a Commercial Business charge in Calhoun County.
