Dog park in Starkville closed due to a parvo outbreak

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A dog park in Starkville is closed due to a parvo outbreak.

In a tweet today, the city of Starkville said that Moncrief Dog Park would be closed until further notice for cleaning and monitoring.

Parvo is highly contagious for puppies and young dogs.

They will have an update on the status of the park on Monday.
