Dogs Recovered From Ecru Puppy Mill

ECRU, Miss. (WCBI) – More than 60 dogs were removed from severely neglected conditions in Pontotoc County.
The Animal Rescue Corps assisted in Ecru, as dozens of dogs were removed from a breeding operation.

ARC responders found a variety of small-breed dogs living in severely dilapidated, urine-soaked, wire hutches outside.

Because of the poor conditions and the lack of veterinary care, the dogs suffered from a wide range of medical issues, including infections, fur loss and parasites.

All of the dogs were surrendered to the Animal Rescue Corps.

The planning for this rescue began when Pontotoc County authorities responded to a tip about this breeder.
