DRIER AIR FINALLY RETURNS

TONIGHT: The cold front that brought the showers and storms today has now dropped to our south. We’ll see skies begin to clear overnight tonight allowing temperatures to drop into the upper 60’s. This front also brought drier air with it, which will bring out dew points and relative humidities down, making it feel much more comfortable outside.

SUNDAY: While the drier air will lower the dew points, the temperatures will stay in place in the low 90s, but without the humidity it will feel much more manageable outside. The rain chance wont diminish entirely, as a stray shower is still possible, but most everyone will stay dry.

MONDAY-TUESDAY: Temperatures will remain in the low 90s and we’ll see some more sunshine. There is still the possibility of a stray shower for someone in the viewing area. Temperatures overnight will be in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY-NEXT WEEKEND: The gulf moisture returns as we get to the middle of next week and brings with it the chance for more prevalent showers and storms. Again, it wont be a washout any day, but everyone has the chance to see some rain any given day. It will be hot and muggy with temperatures in the low 90s.
