Driver hospitalized after Columbus crash

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus driver was injured after her SUV crashed into some trees.

The accident happened on Bluecutt Road, near Military, about 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

First responders said it appeared the gray Toyota left the road, crossed a ditch and hit the trees.

The driver was taken to Baptist Golden Triangle.

Columbus police are investigating the crash
