Dry County Possession Laws Changing

JACKSON (WCBI) – No more tickets for possession of alcohol in your car in a dry county starting in July.

Governor Phil Bryant Monday signed into law the bill making it legal to carry unopened beer, wine and liquor on state and federal highways even in dry counties. The new law does not transfer to county roads and city streets. It is still illegal to possess on those roads.
