Dry Today; Heavy Rain Returns Wednesday and Thursday.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy, with perhaps a few peeks of sunshine, and dry. High temperatures today top out in the upper 50s with a north wind around 5-10 mph. We remain mostly cloudy overnight, and lows drop into the low 40s.
WED-THU: Heavy rain returns to the forecast Wednesday and continues off and on through Thursday night. Considering soils are already saturated across the area, flooding is likely, particularly in areas that are flood prone or have flooded recently. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s and low 50s Wednesday and Thursday, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 40s.
FRIDAY: A few more showers could exacerbate ongoing flooding across the area Friday. Highs in the mid 50s. Drying off overnight, with lows in the low to mid 30s.
WEEKEND & MONDAY: Much nicer weather this weekend and into the start of the work week next week. Mostly sunny skies across the area, with high temperatures ranging from the upper 50s Saturday to the low 60s Sunday and Monday. Overnight lows in the mid to upper 30s.
