Early morning Calhoun County crash leaves one dead

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A woman is dead after an early morning crash in northern Calhoun County.

State troopers said the crash happened on Highway 32, about 7:30 a.m Tuesday.

Troopers said Chanquisity Evans, 22, of Bruce died at the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol believed her SUV left the roadway and collided with a tree.

She was not wearing a seat belt.
