Early morning crash kills Columbus man

PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) – A early Thursday morning crash in Alabama has claimed the life of a Columbus man.

Randy Selvie Jr., 29, was killed when his car left the road and hit a tree at just after 6 a.m.

Selvie was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, and died at the scene.

The accident happened on Highway 14 three miles north of Pickensville.

Alabama State Troopers are still investigating the accident.
