AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — What better way to spend a warm Saturday morning than hunting for eggs this Easter holiday weekend.
That’s exactly what dozens of folks in Amory did, thanks to the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center. Children ages 18 months to eight years old were allowed to participate in the Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny also made an appearance, taking pictures with the kids. Parents say the egg hunt is exciting for the whole family.
“We decided to come out today to have a good time with our family. Have good family time and let our kids get a few eggs and enjoy themselves,” says Lee Nails, who lives in Amory.
“At this age, it’s such a special event for kids. They just love it, they get so excited,” says Jimmy Dozier, an Amory resident.
The annual event was held at Frisco Park in downtown Amory.
