EMCC hosts GTECHS graduation ceremony

GOLDEN TRIANGLE, Miss. (WCBI) – East Mississippi Community College’s Golden Triangle campus held it’s GTECHS commencement ceremony early Saturday morning.

This is the first group of seniors enrolled at the Golden Triangle Early College High School which is the first Early College High School in Mississippi.

54 graduates marched across Lyceum Auditorium.

41 of those graduates will earn an associates degree or a technical certificate.

EMCC said the pilot program is backed by the Mississippi Department of Education and has been a major success.
