EMCC’s Mayfield Named Shelton State Community College President

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WCBI) – Shelton State Community College announced their new president on Wednesday.

Andrea Mayfield will make the move from East Mississippi Community College to take the top administration position at SSCC.

Mayfield, vice president at the Scooba campus, has a doctorate in educational leadership with a special emphasis in the administration of higher education from Mississippi State University.

Mayfield’s first day at the Tuscaloosa campus will be July 1.
