[bitsontherun WxbQhnQi]LEE COUNTY, Miss. – (WCBI) Tips gathered from Facebook shuts down a teenage party and lands four people behind bars.

39-year old Warren Eugene Johnson of Mooreville is charged with failure to comply, 21-year old Ricardo Hogan of Belden was arrested on sale of alcohol without a permit, 18-year old John W Francis of Saltillo was busted on public drunk while Robert Clayton of Tupelo is charged with disorderly conduct.

All four found themselves in hot water after the Lee County Sheriff’s Department and authorities with Alcoholic Beverage Control received tips that a huge party was set for September 1st at 414 County Road 1439.

Sheriff Jim Johnson says a tip leading them to log onto facebook led to the bust.

” Just by the social media site, you see most of it was geared for underage kids. I think that is why they chose to have it out in county was the fact that it they thought it would be policed. They didn’t think it would be checked. We don’t want to intervene in your private life, but if it comes to something of this nature, you better pick another county to do it in, ” says Johnson.

Several minors were also arrested on a host of alcohol related charges.

All have since been released to their parents.
