Fatal Wreck In Noxubee County

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Brooksville man has lost his life in a Noxubee County car accident.

Investigators aren’t sure how it happened, but MHP says its possible the victim had a medical issue.

Noxubee County Coroner, R.L. Calhoun says 66 year old, O.C. Ivy, crashed his car around 6:30 a.m.

The wreck happened near the BP.

Ivy was on Main Street, near Highway 45-A, when he ended up driving his car into a ditch nearby.

His body was sent to Pearl for an autopsy.

Brooksville P.D. is still investigating the accident.
