Video: FEMA Denies Request For Individual Help

JACKSON (WCBI) -Homeowners in Montgomery and Holmes County will not be getting federal help to recover from the April 30th tornadoes.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency says storm damage in the two counties does not meet the level needed tobe declared a disaster area. That leaves residents to rely on non profit and community based recovery agencies to help them rebuild. Public bodies will be getting FEMA help to cover the costs of storm debris removal and emergency response costs
