Five Burglary Arrests

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus Police responded to a break in at Court Square Tower on June 21.

Two juveniles who had forced entry into the building were discovered by a construction worker during a routine check.

It was later learned that several juveniles and one adult had been making several entries into the building since March.

Five arrests have been made since the June 21st incident.

Four minors ages 15 through 17 were arrested, as well as 18-year-old Preston Rice.

All five are being charged with burglary.

Rice is being charged as an adult.

The other four juveniles are being prosecuted through Lowndes County Youth Court.
