Flu impacts area schools

LAMAR COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI)- Flu season is here and schools are being impacted.

The Lamar County School District is closed Friday after reports of the students getting sick across the county.

As of Tuesday, about 12 percent of the school district’s students were absent.

In Tupelo, TCPS is also closing due to the number of people out sick.
