LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Winston County residents have a new place to call home.
Focus Manor, a new housing facility, hosted their grand opening on Saturday.
The assisted living home has thirteen large one- bedroom apartments, for physically handicap and low income people.
Focus Manor is a one of a kind facility in Winston County, funded by a one point eight million dollar grant.
Executive Director Dr. George Miller says this will have a positive impact on the community.
“I believe it will be a positive impact on the city of Louisville and the fact that there are many individuals who live with relatives who are not able to afford their own location so Focus Manor will offer a safe secure environment for individuals who are physically challenged,” said Executive Director Dr. George Miller.
The facility also has onsite apartments for the managers.
