Former Lowndes County sheriff passes away after short illness
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A former sheriff of Lowndes County has passed away.
Dennis “Ed” Prescott died at Baptist Memorial-Golden Triangle after a short illness.
In addition to serving as Sheriff, Prescott was also a justice court judge in Lowndes County.
Arrangements will be handled by Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home.
Prescott was 88 years old.
