Fulton man faces DUI 4th offense charge
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) Tupelo Police officers stopped a car on North Madison Street for traffic violations.
When Officers contacted the driver of the vehicle, they saw multiple indicators that the driver was under the influence.
Officers were also told that the driver was no stranger to law enforcement, and had multiple previous charges for Driving Under the Influence.
At that time, the driver was arrested on misdemeanor charges and transported to the Lee County Jail.
After further investigation, 88-year-old from Fulton John H. Hare was charged with Driving Under the Influence 4th Offense.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Hare to be held without bond.
This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
