Gas Spill Scares Local Gas Station

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-A Columbus Shell station received a scare Saturday afternoon.

First Responders received a call around 11-AM this morning about a gas spill at Dutch Village Gas Station at the corner of Tuscaloosa and Lehmberg Road. According to the Columbus Fire Department an individual left the pump unattended to go into the store. 25 to 30 gallons were spilt. The Columbus Fire fighters placed absorbent over the spill and the gas pump has been turned off.

There were no reports of injuries or damages to the property.
