Gearing up to succeed

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – West Lowndes elementary students are gearing up to take Mississippi Academic assessment program exams.

Our very own Victoria Bailey attended a pep rally today to help fire the students up and encourage them to do their very best.

During the pep rally, each grade created a motivational song dance or skit to encourage the other students to do the very best on the exams.

MAAP exams test students in mathematics, reading, and writing. And grades three through six will start testing Monday, April 16.
