Golden Triangle City Makes Top 10 Safest Cities To Live

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)- A Golden Triangle city makes the National Council for Home Safety and Security’s, Safest City in Mississippi list.

The city of West Point made the top ten list coming in as one the safest cities.

A couple of others to name a few include Oxford, Olive Branch and Petal Mississippi, which took the number one spot.

The cities were listed based on recent FBI Uniform Crime Report statistics and other research.

Cities were ranked based on the number of reported violent crimes and property crimes per 1,000 people.
