Gov. Reeves to appoint new heads of DPS, MDOC

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves will discuss some major non-coronavirus issues during his press briefing Wednesday.

According to a source in the governor’s office, Reeves will announce the new leaders of Department of Public Safety and Mississippi Department of Corrections.

He will also discuss the latest on the state’s efforts to combat COVID-19.

The press briefing will be held at 2:30 p.m.
