Government Shutdown affects Natchez Trace Parkway

NATCHEZ TRACE PARKWAY, Miss. (WCBI)- In the midst of the partial government shutdown, national parks like Natchez Trace Parkway will stay as accessible as possible.

Visitors will be able to use park roads, lookouts, trails, and open-air memorials by emergency and rescue services will be limited.

There will be no provided visitor services including public information, restrooms, trash collection and access to facilities.

All park programs have also been canceled.
