Grant Awarded To Local Fire Station For “State Of The Art” Vehicle

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE)- The Oktibbeha County District No. 5 Fire Protection District/Oktibbeha County District No. 5 VFD is proud to announce that it has been awarded $142,058.00 by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security under the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

These funds will be used to purchase a state of the art vehicle to combat brush/wildland fires and other related activities.

Oktibbeha County District Five VFD is proud to receive these funds, furthering our mission of providing quality fire protection to our residents.
