GTR LINK gives economic workforce update

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-The Golden Triangle Development LINK gives an update on its economic development study.

LINK officials discussed a workforce study of jobs throughout the Golden Triangle and the state of Mississippi.

GTR Link also unveiled the Golden Triangle Regional Workforce Analysis by Younger Associates.

CEO of Golden Triangle Development Link Joe Max Higgins Jr. says the committee is actively searching for more recruitment within the region.

“Since the LINK, we’ve been born in investment, capital investment by year, and we went over how we rank by year in national rankings as far as micro-politicians in the country. Then we went over a fairly ambitious plan next year to get out and get the word out about what we have here,” said Higgins.
