Guilty Plea In Iuka Teen Party Case

IUKA, Miss. (WCBI) — An Iuka woman avoids jail time in connection with a March house party gone wild.
49 year old Rebecca Creel Bridges entered the plea today in Tishomingo County Justice Court.

Bridges admitted she helped host a party back in March where around 25 minors were consuming everything from beer to alcohol laced candy to jello shots. Tishomingo County deputies discovered the party when an intoxicated 14 year old was found walking along County Road 196 near the residence. Bridges could have received up to 90 days in jail for each count but jail time was waived and she was handed $2,831 in fines and court costs.  A second defendant, 60 year old Philip Harris, had his case continued.
