Gulf Moisture Makes for a Warm & Humid Week

TODAY: Gulf moisture will continue to push into the area bringing the chance for showers and storms. Anyone could see a shower or two, but rain chances increase the further south you go. Temperatures will stay in the low 90s but when combined with the humidity it could feel near 100 at times.

TONIGHT: We keep the humidity around but any rain will dissipate overnight. We’ll see temperatures in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY: Highs will remain in the low 90s and the daily chance for rain continues. The heat indices will still be in the upper 90s and close to 100, so if spending excessive time outside, make sure to take breaks in the shade and drink plenty of water.

FRIDAY – SUNDAY:  The pattern remains the same. Temperatures during the day will stay in the low-mid 90s and overnight lows will be in the low-mid 70s. Pop-up showers and storms are possible for anyone on any given day, but no day should be a washout.
