Guntown Man Arrested On Gun Charge

Guntown, Miss. (WCBI) — A domestic dispute on Sunday leads to a Guntown man’s arrest foBruce Martinr a stolen firearm.

Chief Michael Hall says Bruce Franklin Martin, 37, was taken into custody after his officers responded to a domestic dispute.

Hall determined Martin was in possession of a stolen firearm that had been taken from a residence in Lee County after conducting a search warrant of Martin’s residence.

Martin’s bond was set at $5,000 by Justice Court Judge Chuck Hopkins.

Chief Hall says the case will be presented to the next available Grand Jury.
