Harvard Visits The Golden Triangle

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – An Ivy League business school is using our region as a model of success.

Members of the Harvard Business School, toured the Golden Triangle, to gather insights on the area’s economic success.

This morning, October 31, the Ivy League group participated in a question and answer session with members of Link at the “Mill”.

During their trip, the group toured Steel Dynamics and Paccar.

They also met with elected officials to talk about the future of manufacturing jobs, technology advancement, and workforce diversity.

“So I came in with the understanding the importance of collaboration and I think here we can really see how it has allowed the community to be far more creative in the way way that it attracts folks from outside, bring in good business, and the way its able to coordinate across educational institutions and employers,” says Jan Rivkin of the Harvard Business School.

The group spent two days in the Golden Triangle Area.
