More Heat, But a Drier Week

Building Heat

TODAY: There is a 30% chance of afternoon showers and storms, though those south of US 82 are most likely to see the rain. Temperatures will be in the low 90s.

TONIGHT: Skies will begin to clear overnight tonight, leaving mostly clear skies. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s and some patchy fog could develop in the early morning.

TUESDAY – SUNDAY:  High pressure moves into the area and will give us lots of sunshine for the next week or so. This means that skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will climb into the mid and upper 90s by the end of next week. High temperatures will climb a degree or two each afternoon. With this high pressure, we will also see our rain chances diminish to almost zero with this heat. Overnight lows will remain in the mid 70s.
