THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY CONTINUES FOR ANOTHER DAY

TODAY: Temperatures once again will be in the low 90s, and the chance for afternoon showers and storms remain.

TONIGHT:  While a stray shower cannot be ruled out overnight, most of us will stay dry with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s.

THURSDAY – SUNDAY: With high pressure to our east, moisture from the Gulf of Mexico continues to surge into our area  bringing the chance for scattered afternoon showers and storms. More widespread rain is possible Friday and Saturday as a frontal system pushes through our area. Daily temperatures in the afternoon will be in the low-mid 90s with overnight temperatures in the low-mid 70s. In the peak afternoon sun, it may feel like the temperature is much closer to 100 degrees once you factor in the humidity as well.

MONDAY-TUESDAY: We look to move in to a slightly drier pattern, though we will still have the heat and some of the humidity. The daily rain chances will decrease slightly though, as the atmosphere doesn’t have as much moisture to work with.
