Heavy Machinery Required For Ole Miss Construction

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)-It took dozens of 18 wheelers to transport the country’s second largest crane to Oxford. The crane is needed for construction on the extension of the School of Pharmacy building on the Ole Miss campus. Not only did it take dozens to move the massive crane. It took an entire day to piece it together. The School of Pharmacy construction is currently in Phase II of its Thad Cochran Research Center project; a project that will double the schools available research space. The second phase is scheduled for completion in 2014.
