Heritage Academy named Apple Distinguished School

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – There was a celebration Thursday at Heritage Academy.

As we move forward with technology in our everyday lives, schools are now able to insert innovative technology into the classroom.

The school is named an Apple Distinguished School.

Thursday, Dr. Kameron Ball presented Heritage Academy with this prestigious distinction.

To get qualified for this, there are several requirements like integrating apple apps into everyday use and teachers being highly proficient in the use of Apple Products.

The goal is to get students excited about learning and make learning a more personal experience.
