A Hot & Dry Week Ahead

TODAY: The heat has moved in and it won’t be letting up any time soon. Today there is a slight chance for an afternoon shower for someone, but almost everyone will stay dry. Temperatures will be near 93-94 degrees and skies will remain mostly sunny. In the sunshine, temperatures could feel closer to 100.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies overnight and temperatures will fall into the low to mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY- FRIDAY: The hot and humid air remains in place and skies will remain mostly clear. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid and upper 90s and heat indices could push 105° at times. Overnight lows will continue to be in the mid 70s. With this heat, it can be dangerous to be outdoors for long periods of time, so make sure to be prepared and stay hydrated if you are going to be in the heat. Rain chances will essentially be zero through the rest of the work week.

WEEKEND: Saturday and Sunday bring back the chances for some afternoon showers and storms. Highs will begin to return closer to normal, back into the low to mid 90s.
