Improvements Slated at Pontotoc Park

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WCBI) — Howard Stafford Park in Pontotoc is getting some major additions.

After considering a downtown site, aldermen have decided to build a new splash park near the children’s playground in the town’s popular park.

The equipment for the park should arrive sometime in the next few weeks.

Aldermen also have approved building a shuffle board court at Howard Stafford. Woodmen of the World is helping pay for the court.
