Inmate Dies While Serving 82 Year Sentence

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Noxubee County native serving 82 years in prison for three cocaine convictions has died.

Terry Dora, 39, died at the Greene County Hospital in Leakesville on Tuesday evening.

He was serving his prison sentence at the South Mississippi Correctional Institution.

Dora was sentenced in Lowndes and Winston Counties in separate cases.

Dora’s death remains under investigation.
